How does it actually work?

Find the group that matches you, hit WhatsApp, send the message that's already written for you. Someone on our side reviews it and drops you into the chat, usually the same day and never longer than two days. No downloads, no sign-up, no charge.

It's free, full stop. No cost to join any Paris People Club group, we don't sell your contact info, we don't flood the chat with spam, and there are no ads running inside the groups.

Can I join more than one group?

There's no cap. Plenty of members are in Running Along the Seine, Digital Nomads, and Nightlife simultaneously, because none of those identities cancel each other out. Two to four groups is the average.

What's the group size? Won't it be spammy?

Groups are kept small on purpose, capped under 250, with someone actually watching for promo and spam. Anything off-topic gets pulled fast. This is members talking to members, not a marketing list.

I'm only in Paris for 5 days. Worth joining?

Five days is enough to make it count. Tourists - 10 Days exists so you're not doing your first Paris trip solo - a welcome dinner, a split Uber from CDG, and locals pointing you past the tourist traps within hours.

I don't have WhatsApp. Another option?

WhatsApp is effectively required - it's how the whole international crowd here coordinates, from flatshares to language exchanges. If you truly can't use it, the contact page is your way in and we'll try to find a workaround.

Are these groups safe? Vetted?

Getting in means one short intro first: a photo, your first name, where you're coming from, the group you're after. Anyone reported for scamming or harassing another member is out. We run this as a community, not a paid listing service.

Paris People Club is kept running by residents and regular visitors who've made this city home, all sharing one belief: no one should feel isolated here. What started as one WhatsApp group has grown into ten. It's a side project born from care, not a company.
